Eight Island physicians expand leadership skills
In November 2019, eight more PEI physicians graduated with the Master’s Certificate in Physician Leadership. This robust eight-month program was designed to teach new strategies to support physicians in solving chronic health-system problems. As part of the program each graduate tackled real system issues and opportunities; topics ranged from emergency medicine to collaborative primary care. From doctors’ offices to boardrooms, PEI physicians are looking for ways to improve how we care for patients.
