DR. JENNIFER FRAZER
PEDIATRICIAN
The Medical Society of Prince Edward Island extends a warm welcome to Dr. Jennifer Frazer, FRCPC, who began working as a Pediatrician in July at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.
Jennifer hails from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia and attended Dalhousie University for both medical school and residency training. Jennifer is eager to practice the complete scope of general pediatrics offered here in Prince Edward Island—caring for newborns to teenagers.
During residency, Jennifer had the opportunity to complete rotations in Charlottetown and she immediately knew it was the type of practice she was looking for upon completion of her training.
The team here is so passionate and caring towards children and their families, while continuously striving to optimize the PEI healthcare system.
Prince Edward Island’s proximity to the mainland is an added perk for Jennifer. While it was a difficult decision to move away from supportive family, she is looking forward to continuing to make new connections on the Island. The short trip also allows for visits back home.
On her free time, Jennifer can be found spending time with her husband, Greg, their two and half year-old son, Silas, and 10-year-old cat, Karen. The family loves the outdoors and exploring new places, and as Jennifer would put it, “trying to burn off some of that endless toddler energy.”
Do you have any family-friendly recommendations that Jennifer’s family should add to their list? Bonus points if you know of great kid-friendly restaurants!
